Different kinds of Ayurvedic massage Treatments 

Ayurvedic massages are of various kinds ranging from a head massage to personalized herbal oil massage called Abhyanga or forehead massage using oil called Ayurvedic Shirodhara. While Vishesh is a deep muscular herbal oil massage, Udwarthanam refers to a deep massage slimming treatment using herbal powders. Pizzichili is warm herbal oil massage given by two therapists.

Apart from these, there are also other massages like Shiro-Abhyanga-Nasya that constitutes of a deep neck, shoulder and head massage, facial lymphatic massage and aromatic steam. Abhyanga-Garshana involves dry lymphatic skin brushing complimented by an herbal oil massage, while Ayurvedic face and marma therapy consists of a facial using an herbal mask and personally prepared oils. Sometimes massages are even done using the feet.
